The Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) recently commissioned a LearnDash-based LMS from Discover eLearning to replace their existing outdated online learning environment.
Like many high-profile organisations, CTSI sought a slick, scalable solution that maintains excellent performance even as their user base grows. They chose to work with Discover eLearning after seeing our track record of customised LMS solutions for other UK trade institutions, such as the British Plastics Federation and the British Compressed Air Society.
As in all our projects, we carefully considered each of CTSI’s requirements during a dedicated ‘Discovery Phase’ with all key stakeholders to ensure the new LMS would fit their current and future needs. This includes:
- Customising access and resources for each type of user, ensuring they can seamlessly carry out their work.
- Customisation of professional LMS enhancement plugins to facilitate the bespoke functionality required by CTSI.
- Ensuring compatibility and incorporating all existing eLearning content (including SCORM packages generated with iSpring Suite) provided by CTSI into the new LMS.
The new Learning Management System provides CTSI with everything they need to facilitate and certify learners conducting their professional training programmes.
At launch, 260 students were invited to start using the new CTSI LMS platform. In preparation for this, Discover eLearning ran a full-day workshop to familiarise CTSI education and training staff with the new system, ensuring they felt comfortable and confident using the LMS.
