Discover eLearning was founded in 2016 by digital learning expert and technology enthusiast Chris Hodgson. Having already worked for one of the largest digital learning technology consultancies in the country, he decided it was time to build a new company – one dedicated to meeting the needs and expectations of the 21st Century learner. As a result, he is now successfully helping both businesses and individuals from all sectors utilise the latest technology to build memorable digital learning experiences.
Year-on-year, Discover eLearning has continued to grow in reputation and reach, with clients spanning all over the world. In recent months, much of our clientele that have joined us on our journey are based in the United States and Canada (we don’t shy away from late night meetings!). Meet Chris Hodgson - Founder of Discover eLearning
As an accomplished eLearning professional with a rich background in education, development, and training, Chris Hodgson has dedicated his career to advancing digital learning solutions. Beginning with six years at Northumbria University, he progressed from being an eLearning Content Developer to a Senior Learning Technologies Advisor, a journey that was recognised with Fellowship status from the Higher Education Academy. His passion for enhancing educational experiences through technology brought him to Jisc, where, as a Regional Advisor in the North East of England, he advised on best-practice eLearning strategies across Further Education, work-based learning, and adult community learning sectors.
Driven by a vision to empower businesses and educational institutions with innovative yet affordable eLearning solutions, Chris founded Discover eLearning Ltd. Under his leadership as Managing Director, Discover eLearning has become a recognised specialist in developing ultramodern, engaging eLearning content and systems. Our mission is to facilitate impactful online learning, making it smarter and sustainable for organisations of all sizes. Today, Discover eLearning works with organisations across the world providing bespoke eLearning consultancy and development for a diverse range of clients and industries, including Nike, Danone, Victim Support UK, and the NHS.
His work on leveraging WordPress for education and training, empowering organisations to transition their training needs online efficiently, helps many organisations to reduce learning technology overhead costs whilst enhancing staff performance and knowledge retention.
